8 S:P Little Knight

S:P Little Knight is a valuable Extra Deck Monster that can help you out in a jam. It only requires two Monsters on the field to Summon and gives immediate value if you use another Extra Deck Monster as material.
Most decks like to run this card because it provides a way to banish a card on the field or in the graveyard at the expense of not being able to attack directly. It also deters your opponent from using Monster Effects, since S:P Little Knight can respond by banishing Monsters on your side of the field or your opponent’s. You can also get this card out on your opponent’s turn using I:P Masquerena.
7 Mudragon Of The Swamp
A Generic Super Poly Target
Super Polymerization is one of the best Quick Play Spells in the game. By discarding a card, you can use some of your opponent’s Monsters as material for a Fusion Monster. What makes Mudragon of the Swamp such a good generic target for this is that it requires two Monsters with the same Attributes but different Types.
Mudragon of the Swamp is a card where the Summoning requirements facilitate the use of Super Poly. Decks use so many different Monster Types but with only seven Attributes, your opponent is bound to land on a diverse board at some point during their combos.

Using a Monster as material works the same way Kaiju Monsters work. This means there’s no window for your opponent to respond to getting their Monsters used as Material. Since it’s part of your Extra Deck you also don’t need to draw into it. In addition to the removal, it has a decent attack stat of 3000, shuts down your opponent's Monsters from using their Effects, and even acts as a negate for graveyard Summoning. The card became even more easily available in Rarity Collection II.
5 Abyss Dweller

Level Four Monsters are some of the most common in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. There was a time when most decks simply had a toolbox of XYZ Monsters to tackle any situation. Abyss Dweller is an excellent Rank Four Monster to make that doesn’t require much to get out.
By removing material from Abyss Dweller, you can shut down your opponent’s graveyard during your turn or their turn. In the modern game, the graveyard is almost like a second hand with many cards that can do things while in there. So cutting them off from this resource can heavily influence your opponent’s final endboard.

Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder may require two Level 12 Monsters to XYZ Summon, but it’s the alternative way of doing this that makes it a must-have for any deck. You can instead overlay this card on top of another one of your XYZ Monsters as long as one of them attacked this turn.
By detaching two materials from Zeus, you can send all other cards from the field to the graveyard. This is a non-targeting method that also bypasses any destruction Effects your opponent might have set up. It also has a decent way of getting more material under it if your opponent destroys one of your cards.
3 Number 41: Bagooska The Terribly Tired Tapir

Skill Drain is a powerful Trap that shuts down Monster Effects. Number 41: Bagooska The Terribly Tired Tapir is essentially a Skill Drain on legs. Using only two Level Four Monsters for its Summon, you can place it in Defense Position to stop your opponent’s Monsters from activating their Effects.

Bagooska forces all of your opponent’s Monsters to switch to Defense Position. This helps protect you from being hit with attacks during the Battle Phase. Unlike Skill Drain, it also destroys itself once it runs out of material, so you don’t need to worry about drawing an out for your floodgate. It is a great card to have when you need to stop your opponent dead in their tracks.
2 Super Starslayer TY-PHON, Sky Crisis

If you thought Zeus has an easy enough requirement to get out, Super Starslayer TY-PHON, Sky Crisis has an even easier one to meet. The card was originally released in Age of Overlord. If your opponent Summons two or more Extra Deck Monsters, you can bring out Sky Crisis to shut down any Monster that has 3000 or more attack points.
This is not just a great way of stopping Zeus but any boss Monster your opponent tries to bring out. Since all this card requires is that you have at least one Monster on the field, it can overlay on anything. You can also use it to bounce Monsters back into your opponent’s hand or Extra Deck if it’s an Extra Deck Monster.
1 Accesscode Talker
A Powerful Generic Boss Monster
Accesscode Talker is a game-ending card for a reason. For starters, on Summon, it can target a Link Monster in your graveyard or on the field and gain 1000 extra attack points for each Link Arrow on the card. You can also banish Link Monsters from the graveyard to destroy a card on your opponent’s side of the field.
The best part is that your opponent can’t activate cards or Effects when you do this, so they just need to sit there and watch their field be destroyed. This card runs even better if you can get a variety of Link Monsters into your graveyard, so you can use this effect multiple times in the turn.
